Effective 2 October 2026
These are the companies that receive data in connection with MeetInk, what each receives, and when. None of them receives your recordings, transcripts or notes from us, because we never have them. For the full picture, read the privacy policy.
Our subprocessors
| Company | Purpose | What it receives | When | Policy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Razorpay | Payments | Your email address, the amount, and the card, bank or UPI details you enter at checkout | When you buy a license | Privacy policy |
| Resend | Sending your license key by email | Your email address and your license key (which contains your email address) | Once, after a purchase | Privacy policy |
| Amplitude | Anonymous usage statistics | A random install ID, app and macOS version, notes engine name, and counts of meetings, minutes, notes, questions, successes and failures. Your IP address, as with any request | About once a day, unless you turn it off in Settings → Privacy | Privacy policy |
| Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) | Optional sign-in, to restore your license on another Mac | Your email address, an account ID and your license key | Only if you sign in with Google | Privacy policy |
| Google Calendar API | Optional calendar connection | A request for your events, with read-only access you granted. Events are sent from Google to your Mac; we don’t receive them | Only if you connect a Google account | Privacy policy |
| GitHub (Releases) | Delivering app downloads and updates | Your IP address and the app version being checked | When the app checks for or downloads an update | Privacy policy |
| Hugging Face | Hosting the speech models | Your IP address. No audio or personal data | Once, when the app first downloads its speech models | Privacy policy |
| Cloudflare | Hosting this website | Standard server logs: IP address, pages requested, browser | When you visit this website | Privacy policy |
Services you choose and pay for yourself
These aren’t our subprocessors. If you pick a cloud notes engine, you sign up with that provider, enter your own API key, and the app sends the request directly from your Mac to them. We are not in between and never see it. Audio is never sent. Your agreement with that provider governs what they do with it.
| Service | What the app sends, directly from your Mac | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Gemini API | Transcript text and meeting context, and your Ask questions. On the free tier Google may use them to improve its products | Privacy policy |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Transcript text and meeting context, and your Ask questions | Privacy policy |
| OpenAI | Transcript text and meeting context, and your Ask questions | Privacy policy |
| Ollama | Nothing leaves your Mac. The model runs locally (or on a machine you point the app to) | Privacy policy |
The same applies to integrations you set up (Slack, Zapier, Make, n8n, GitHub, Linear, Jira, a synced folder) and to AI apps you connect (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor): they receive only what you send them, under their own terms.
