Set up in about three minutes
- 1Open the downloadDouble-click MeetInk.dmg and drag MeetInk into Applications.
- 2Allow two permissionsMicrophone for your side, and System Audio Recording for the other side. The app tests both right away.
- 3Pick who writes your notesGoogle Gemini’s free tier (recommended), a local model through Ollama (offline), or your own Claude or OpenAI key. You can change it later.
- 4Join a callWhen a meeting starts, click Take notes in the notification, or Record on the Today page. Or press ⌘R.
What it asks for, and why
- MicrophoneRecords your side of the conversation.
- System Audio RecordingRecords the other participants from the meeting app. Other apps’ audio is left out.
- NotificationsOffers to take notes when a meeting or call starts.
- Calendars (optional)Shows today’s meetings, names recordings after the event and adds the invitees.
